Day Off

O U T F I T
Shirt & Bag: Pull and Bear, Pants: New Look, Shoes: River Island, Belt & Sunglasses: Asos

I shot this outfit a while back, I shot a different one too but I could never bring myself to post them. None of it seemed good enough anymore, I was no longer excited or inspired. I never want to stop progressing and improving, and so I decided some time ago that I needed to buy a sufficient camera. My iPhone has served me well but it just wasn't cutting it anymore. So, I did my research and started saving and the time as finally come. This is officially my last iPhone outfit post, hurrah!

And just like that, I catch myself constantly thinking about my next post, how I can step outside of my comfort zone with new pieces or re-work some old ones. I cannot wait to start experimenting with photography, I think it can only enhance my outfit posts and the over-all Bonne Chance look.

Stay tuned...

Currently Coveting

One of my favourite things about Asos is that it introduces you to brands that you would otherwise never have thought of. I would never have considered checking out Motel for Spring pieces, but after stumbling upon this beauty I will in future.

This print is a bit of a departure for me, but I love the dropped hemline and the fact that it is not a floral print. I mean, there is nothing ground breaking about floral’s for Spring. It is a little bit cutesie so I am planning on pairing it with a leather jacket and some booties. Come on pay day!

The Usual Suspects

O U T F I T
Jumper & Necklace : Topshop, Waistcoat & Shoes: Zara, Pants & Bag: River Island, Watch: Fossil

Once again I am behind on my blog posts but this time I really do have a genuine reason, College work. You can't be mad at me for wanting to do College work, right? Anyway here are my usual suspects, Topshop, River Island, and Zara. Predicable, guilty but you can never accuse me of not being loyal.

This Zara waistcoat is my latest purchase and I'm head over heels in love. So versatile and it will be perfect once in starts heating up (here's hoping) and replace my usual blazers.

I got this bag a long time ago in a sale and broke it on my first outing. Oh well, still useful for blogs, when I don't have to actually use the handle.

Same Same But Different

O U T F I T
Top & Jacket: Warehouse, Jeans & Bag: River Island, Shoes: Zara

This post is along the same lines as my last post but yet, different. It's also a kind of family slogan as my Australian family and I have matching t-shirts with the saying.

I saw a few cool kids around Bloglovin' wearing their jackets hung over their shoulders like this so thought I would give it a go. I suppose it looks kinda' cool for pictures but it's obviously totally impractical if you plan on moving your arms in any way.

I'm in love with this cool tee I got from Warehouse, a perfect little black tee but then it has this amazing pleating on the back. It's still a little short for me at the front but nothing a little tank won't fix.

My shoes are of course the gorgeous puppies that I was coveting in a previous post and they are everything I had hoped for and more.

My bag was a Christmas pressie from my gorgeous sister who I know has been waiting to see it on here, so here you go.

I thought the last picture was funny, it was a tad bit windy to say the least.

Monochrome

O U T F I T
Shirt: Pull and Bear, Jacket: Warehouse, Jeans: Topshop, Boots: Zara, Necklace & Sunglasses: Asos

I have worn variations of this outfit almost constantly over the last few weeks. I have acquired a vast amount of monochrome separates recently that have quickly become my go-too pieces which results in a never-ending sea of black mixed with sparse drops of neutrals.

This somewhat dreary style faze may have been triggered by my new die-for-can't-live-without boots. I have barely taken them off since I left the Zara store and I definitely think I have found 'the one'. The one perfect pair of ankle boots that stand out yet blend in, comfortable yet stylish, versatile yet unique in their own special way, maybe it's just me who likes to have a love affair with shoes but I am just smitten and couldn't be happier.

These jeans are also my total fave's at the mo', black and gorgeous(as are 90% of my leg-wear collection,leg-wear?)as well as wonderfully comfortable. Wonderful comfort factors being, the seemingly never-ending stretch in the denim which is nothing short of a god-send, teamed with the rips at the knee make for a pair of jeans you could run a marathon in without stopping to hike them back up to your belly-button every two seconds.

My necklace is an oldie but a goodie, the perfect statement piece for any outfit I feel needs a little pick-me-up.

Just Purchased

I just purchased this little gem on Asos and cannot wait for it to arrive. I love metallics for spring and for me, accessories are the perfect way to wear the trend. I am now on the hunt for a pair of metallic pumps too.

This clutch ticks all the boxes for me as I prefer a larger bag, and I love the handy pouch on the front. It looks so sleek and modern; as I added it to my cart I was simultaneously pairing it with endless outfits.

Back To Basics

O U T F I T
Shirt & Coat: Pull and Bear, Pants: River Island, Necklace: Topshop, Bag: Zara, Belt & Shoes: Asos

I wore this outfit recently sans heels for a busy day of pulling clothes around the city for a photo shoot. Dressing for work days as an intern can be a challenge, meeting the line between business and casual is an art in itself but I think I managed it by pulling together a few basics that I already had hanging in my wardrobe.

After a very hectic day I was late home and didn't have time to change, I threw on my new heels and was on my way. Surprisingly the outfit transcended perfectly for a couple of relaxed drinks with friends.

I'm obsessed with this shoe style at the moment, although they are lot more uncomfortable to wear than the beloved platform, I am willing to withstand the pain for these beauties.

Currently Coveting

I haven't posted a 'Currently Coveting' in a while, probably because my bank balance has warned me off any online browsing. But my willpower wore thin and I eventually stopped by Zara for a quick peek.

I'm so impressed by their shoe collection at the moment, as you can tell I'm really loving the strappy sandal vibe. I honestly could have picked a lot more but it's not safe for me to let my shoe addiction run too wild.

If you're lucky enough to be able to purchase any of these beauties you can do so herehere and here

Happy Birthday To Me

O U T F I T
Dress & Necklace: River Island

I just celebrated my 21st birthday and thought I would share a couple of pictures from my party. I was slightly apprehensive about reaching the milestone, which seems a bit ridiculous now as it's still such a young age. I have no idea what I was worrying about and if anything it makes me so excited to see what the next 21 years bring.

As with anything else in my life, this outfit was completely last minute. So much so I didn't even have time to try it on before I bought it and I only got my shoes the day before the party, typical. Anyway it all worked out well in the end.

My little party dress ticked all the boxes and no doubt I will forever be nostalgic of the memories associated with it, a night filled with family and friends, one I will never forget.

Neon

O U T F I T
Shirt: Vero Moda, Jacket & Earrings: Topshop, Jeans & Bag & Shoes: River Island.

So much of this outfit has been found on sale, my most recent purchase is this fab neon shirt. I found the bargain in Vero Moda recently for €8! Love it. I picked up the light jacket in the Topshop sale last year, as well as my shoes which I bought around the same time from River Island. They are the perfect summer heel and I have been waiting for the weather to warm up a bit to break them out. Of course as soon as we started shooting this it began to rain, but that's to be expected here right?

This satchel is one of my all-time favourite handbags, I have had it for years and it continues to be the perfect addition to any outfit I think needs an extra pop of colour.

These jeans are also my all-time fave's, they are such a classic fit and wash I can wear them with anything. This is actually my third pair because my other two have been worn out completely, I'm sure this pair will have the same fate.
